Vento impetuoso

«Dio parla a Giobbe in mezzo al turbine» (Giobbe 38, 1).

Ci fu un vento impetuoso e gagliardo da spaccare i monti e spezzare le rocce davanti al Signore, ma il Signore non era nel vento. Dopo il vento ci fu un terremoto, ma il Signore non era nel terremoto. Dopo il terremoto ci fu un fuoco, ma il Signore non era nel fuoco. (1 Re, 19, 11-12)

Il rumore del vento impetuoso poggia sulla violenza distruttiva verso le pietre e verso l’alimento del fuoco. È il vento del giudizio, ma vento dell’ assenza, della non presenza, di un caos che fa leggere il necessario.
